Thanks for stopping by our little piece of cyber space! I love having a place to share little glimpses of our life with family and friends. Be sure to leave a comment to let me know you were here!

Hubby has discovered certain faces and voices make our little man laugh more than others.  The other night we found that if hubby quoted part of "Singing in the Rain", our silly baby boy would crack up.

I was holding little man while I made the video and I couldn't see what I was doing...so I'm sorry you can only see part of his face!  It's more about the laughter anyway, and you can hear that no matter where the camera is aimed.  :)

I loved the onsie I put my baby boy in yesterday, so I tried to get a really cute picture.

As you can tell...someone wasn't in a very good mood...and this mantra ended up being a perfect way to explain our day.

"Cry Loud, Rock Hard" my friends!

This weekend my little man was severely lacking sleep.  My parents and two of my siblings came to visit...and with so many fun people to play with, who needs sleep?!  At least, that's what little man decided.  So he kept skipping his naps.  And boy was he cranky!

He had fun with all the attention though (Nana pretty much never put him down and Grandpa and Auntie and Uncle were full of funny faces!), and we all enjoyed the family time.

Little man is working on following in his daddy's footsteps.

It may not have gotten rid of his hiccups, but my baby boy appeared to enjoy it all the same!

(I especially love the drool all over his face and the point where it flies out of his mouth.  Nice....)

There are some people I don't really enjoy talking to.  When I tell them about my baby boy and the things he does, they pull what I call a "Penelope."  Let me help you understand...(don't worry, it's worth watching)

After watching this clip, do you understand?  Please folks, don't be a Penelope.   It might be funny to watch (okay, it's hilarious...) but it makes you no fun to be around.

I felt it was time to do another photo shoot with my little man.  I took pictures of him with blankets (and a hat) that have been lovingly made for him by my husband's grandma and great-aunt.

On Saturday we took a family drive to see what pretty colors we could find in the area.

And we tried to get a nice family photo.

Yeah right.

I'm a little behind schedule today but....this video is brought to you by little man's newest noise discovery:

13.10.11

My little man really "eats up" the written word.

(ha ha, I'm so witty....)

We had to bundle baby boy up yesterday because...

he got to experience his first snow.  Little man may have enjoyed watching the snow flakes, but he didn't like being cold (and neither did Mama or Daddy!)

6.10.11

My cousin made this adorable little hat for my baby boy and gave it to me at my baby shower:

He looks so cute in it!  Even when he falls asleep and it goes sideways over his face....

I love the hat so much, that I wanted him to have more.  So I decided, "hey, I've crocheted before, maybe I'll make him a hat!"

I tried looking for online tutorials but most of them just confused me.  What on earth does  "2sc" mean?!  So I took his little hat, examined it closely, and tried my luck.

After unpicking about three times, I finally figured it out.  Ta da!

I had so much fun making it that I want to make more!  Next time I might add ears.  :)

5.10.11

My mom and dad gave us a little chair that attaches to our table so that little man can sit at the dinner table with us.  I think it's better than a high chair because it takes up less space.  Baby boy loves seeing everything at the same level as his mama and daddy!

Thanks Nana and Grandpa!

My little Houdini was at it again!  What's a mama to do?

We've been very busy listening to advice like this about children and visiting family.
