It is so fun to watch my little man explore the world around him. 

One of my favorite things is that he loves to point out trees everywhere we go.  He points at them until I confirm that yes, that's a tree.  Then he'll look for another one to point out to me.  I can't get him to say "tree" yet, but I'm sure it will come soon.

Little man has a new favorite past-time.  Sharing!  Especially food.

He loves to put his food straight in your mouth.  It has now become nearly impossible to convince him to eat, because he's too busy feeding everyone else.  What a cute boy I have!

Every time we have the opportunity to visit my parents, little man looks forward to seeing their cat.  She, on the other hands, spends more time outside when we are there.  Whenever she does venture inside, my baby boy starts giggling and makes a bee-line for her.

She's so good to put up with him.  He loves to touch her tail and lay on her, rubbing his head against her soft fur.  And for the most part she obliges.  She hissed at him and scared him the other day, but later they "kissed and made up." She licked his nose, and he licked hers.  I wish I had it on video!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

We visited the family graves last night, hoping to beat the crowd.

Little man loved all the pretty flowers.  I know he's too young to understand the meaning behind this day, but it was nice to see him take an interest in some small part of it.

My sister tells me that this picture is very old-style Hollywood.

Especially once I edited it.

My baby is so photogenic!

It's so fun watching my little man learn and grow!

I probably shouldn't have let him eat his fruit and grain bar until we were home...

At church the other day I was digging through the diaper bag looking for something to keep little man happy. I found the pacifier that he hasn't been interested in since he was probably 3 months old. He saw it in my hand and took it, but obviously didn't remember its purpose.

Last week little man and I went to the park with some friends.

 

It wasn't too busy because the day was a little overcast, but I felt like the weather was perfect! 

We had a wonderful time.

Is there anything cuter than a baby that sleeps with his bum in the air?  (P.S. He also has his ankles crossed.  So cute!)
